PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS WORDWALL QUIZ PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS MATERI PERUBAHAN BENTUK LAPISAN BUMI DI KELAS V SDN 3 LEMBONGAN KECAMATAN NUSA PENIDA

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of human resources; therefore, learning media capable of fostering an active, engaging, and meaningful learning process are essential. One of the challenges faced in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) instruction at SD Negeri 3 Lembongan, Nusa Penida District, is the limited use of technology-based learning media—particularly regarding the topic of changes in the Earth's layers, which involves abstract concepts that students find difficult to grasp. Addressing this issue, this study aims to develop Wordwall Quiz-based learning media that is valid and practical, and elicits a positive response from students regarding the topic of changes in the Earth's layers for Grade V. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. Media validation was conducted by subject matter experts, media experts, linguists, and practitioners, followed by small-group trials and field tests involving Grade V students at SD Negeri 3 Lembongan, Nusa Penida District. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The results indicate that the developed Wordwall Quiz-based learning media achieved a "valid" rating from experts, a "valid" rating from practitioners, and a "very good" response from students, thereby deeming the media suitable for use in the IPAS learning process. Consequently, Wordwall Quiz-based learning media serves as an innovative and interactive alternative to enhance the quality of IPAS instruction in primary schools.
